LibraryIn collaboration with the Regional Arts Commission, St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts maintains a reference library for use by artists, arts administrators and volunteers. The collection includes sample contracts, periodicals and books on arts management and the law, as well as information about artist live/work space. A computer with Internet access also is available for use. Thanks to the cooperation of the Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis County, our library catalog is searchable on the web. The e-catalog contains the holdings of nine independent community libraries in St. Louis County: Brentwood Public Library, Ferguson Municipal Public Library, Kirkwood Public Library, Maplewood Public Library, Richmond Heights Memorial Library, Rock Hill Public Library, University City Public Library, Valley Park Community Library and Webster Groves Public Library. The books in our collection are listed in the location field. Located on the third floor of the Regional Arts Commission's building, 6128 Delmar, the library is open to the public during regular business hours and by appointment on weekends or during the evening. As a service to Missouri and Southwestern Illinois artists and arts organizations, VLAA staff will search the library for the answer to simple questions. For those queries that cannot be answered briefly over the telephone, we will prepare a packet of relevant material and mail it to you. Links to Other Library Catalogs |
