BoardLinkStL introduces committed individuals from diverse backgrounds to organizations that are seeking new board members. Its innovative website allows users to create profiles and start the matching process. Like match.com, BoardLinkStL brings people together. BoardLinkStl believes that successful matchmaking is based on clarifying expectations and building solid relationships. Its training component is designed to make “dating” lead to “long-term marriages.”

Readiness to Serve
This interactive two-hour session provides an overview of the nonprofit sector and the basic roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards. Individuals learn how to determine if a nonprofit organization will be a good fit and how to create an online profile that will make you an attractive board prospect.

Readiness to Recruit
This workshop prepares organizations to identify, meet and elect new board members and provides guidance on using our online matching tool. The interactive two-hour session provides an overview of the basic roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards and offers strategies for successful recruitment. Participants learn how to create a persuasive online profile that accurately reflects their organization’s mission, programs and leadership needs.
